Choosing a hotel room
Staying safe at hotel is one of our prime concerns while vacationing abroad. During your stay at a hotel, make sure that you take all the necessary steps to protect yourself. When booking a room, always avoid room on the ground floor or is easily accessible from outside the building. Also, make an extra effort to get room that is not at much of walking distance from the main entrance, so that you can get inside easily.

Book a hotel in advance
Making hotels reservations in advance usually yields lowest rates. While making a reservation always check rates for different days of the week. Also, determine whether that hotel is primarily a "business" hotel or "leisure" hotel. Business hotel will be full during the weekends while the leisure fills up during the weekends.
